Octicase is a network for personal injury cases. If you were injured, the part you use is the directory: you search for attorneys and firms, review the listings, choose who to contact, and deal with them directly.
No. Octicase is the ecosystem a personal injury case runs in: the directory, the network and the case itself. We do not give legal advice and we do not represent anyone. Using Octicase does not make you a client of ours or of any attorney listed here.
No. We do not refer, rank or recommend anyone. You search the directory yourself and you decide whom to contact and hire. A listing is advertising, not our opinion of the attorney.
Attorneys and law firms pay a monthly subscription to be listed. We do not charge per case, and we earn nothing when you hire one of them.
No. A lawyer referral service is a category certified and regulated by state bar associations, and Octicase is not one. Attorneys appear in the directory because they advertise with us, and Octicase does not rank, rate, endorse, or recommend them.

No. It explains how claims like yours generally work. It does not tell you what to do about yours, it does not predict how your case will turn out, and using it does not make you anyone’s client. A lawyer can tell you what it means for you.
The type of incident, the state you were in, roughly how long ago it happened, and who was involved. We do not ask for your phone number, your doctors, your diagnoses, your insurance policies, or any medical records. A question that would not change what you are shown is a question we do not ask.
No. Nothing is submitted anywhere. This page never posts your answers, no attorney is contacted on your behalf, and nobody is assigned to you. If you want to speak with a lawyer, you open the directory and choose who to contact.
No. You will not see a dollar figure, a percentage, a verdict on whether you have a case, or a deadline calculated for you. Those answers turn on facts and law that only a licensed attorney can weigh, so the closing screen stays with general information about your type of incident.
Yes. The whole flow is written in English and Spanish, questions and closing screen alike, and the toggle rides with you from the first screen to the last.
The firm listings are at octicase.com/firms. Browse them, read the profiles, and you decide who to contact and reach out to them directly. Octicase does not stand between you and the firm at any point.
Yes. Contact as many as you like. Most people speak with more than one before deciding, and nothing in Octicase limits who you may call or tracks it against you.
Ask who will handle your case day to day, how the firm charges and what comes out of a recovery, what you owe in costs if the case does not settle, how often you will hear from them, and how many cases like yours they have handled. Get the fee agreement in writing before you sign anything.
Contact another one. Octicase does not manage the relationship between you and a listed firm, does not follow up on your behalf, and cannot require a firm to answer.
Understand your options works in every state and the District of Columbia. The directory shows the firms that advertise with us, so who you find near you depends on which firms have joined. If nobody in your area is listed yet, the questions still tell you what to gather.
No. A listing is advertising, not an endorsement. It says nothing about that attorney’s qualifications. Sponsored placements are labelled, and paying never removes anyone from a search.
No. Browsing the directory and answering the questions are free. There is nothing to buy and no account to open.
No. Octicase never takes a portion of any settlement, verdict, or legal fee, and does not accept referral fees. Attorneys pay one flat monthly fee for their Octicase account, and the listing comes with it.
Most work on contingency, which means the fee is a percentage of what they recover and there is nothing to pay if they recover nothing. Case costs, things like filing fees and expert reports, are handled separately, and the agreement should say who owes them. The exact numbers vary by firm, so read the fee agreement and ask about anything that is not clear.
No. Octicase does not charge per case, per lead, or per signed client. A firm pays one flat monthly fee for its Octicase account, the listing comes with it, and the fee does not move with how much work the firm gets.
No. Octicase receives nothing when you hire a listed attorney, so nothing in your fee agreement is different because of where you found them.
No. One plan at one price, $250 per firm, per month, and free while the beta runs. Extra AI credits and storage can be bought on demand if a firm runs past what the plan includes, and text messages, fax and the AI voice agent are billed by usage.
We protect it as our Privacy Policy describes. But Octicase is not a law firm, so what you share here is not covered by attorney-client privilege until you hire an attorney.
It stays on your screen. The flow does not submit your answers anywhere, so there is nothing to forward, nothing to sell, and nothing to hand to an attorney.
Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, access inside a firm is limited by role, and every touch of a sensitive record is written to an audit log.
Yes. Octicase is built to the HIPAA Security Rule. In practice that means encryption in transit and at rest, access limited by role, and an audit trail behind every record.
No. Octicase does not sell personal information. The Privacy Policy sets out what we collect and why, and the Do Not Sell page is there if you want the request on the record anyway.
Yes. Write to us and we will remove what we hold. If you have already retained an attorney, the file that firm keeps is theirs, so that request goes to them separately.
$250 per firm, per month, and free during the beta. One plan, no tiers, no annual option, and no per-case or per-lead charge on top. An attorney practicing alone pays the same $250 as a firm of forty.
Nothing. During the beta you are not billed, and you get the full plan with every feature switched on. Billing starts when the beta ends, and firms that used the beta and stay on keep $50 off, at $200 per firm, per month instead of $250.
Unlimited active cases and users, AI on every case, unlimited while the beta runs, 100 GB of storage, access to the provider directory, the provider network, and every feature in the plan. Text messages, fax and the AI voice agent are add-ons billed by usage. When the beta ends, AI usage shows in Billing, and if a firm runs past its allowance, more can be bought on demand.
It runs the case from intake to archive: documents, medical records, deadlines, calendars, client messaging, e-signature, and AI that summarizes records and builds chronologies. The directory is where clients find the firm; the case is where the work happens.
Subscribe and build your profile. Your listing is advertising: you are responsible for what it says and for compliance with the rules of professional conduct in your jurisdiction.
